Ryan`s Family Steakhouse in Myrtle Beach

Delicious with variety!Took the kids on Thursday for a $1. 99 each. Ryan's offers a delicious selection of great food. From meatloaf to Fried Chicken to prime rib even tacos and fish. All the selections were very nicely prepared and the buffet areas were clean and the staff was very attentive. It was a reasonable evening out with the kids Corner offering snow cones and cotton candy for the kids on their way out of Ryan's. The desserts were great!I give them 5 stars because they deserve it!

This buffet offers a good menu, the southern fried chicken is exceptional and the salad bar has everything to make a great salad. Service is better than most buffet's

Pretty decent experience. Brought my brother here for his birthday. For four people to eat dinner, it costs $70.00 plus tip. The food was...alright. Definitely had better. Their pie slices probably were the highest quality item offered.

Awful terrible cold food. No flavor. Poor choices, food out of a can)box. Food poisoning 😫

I loved being back in a home style buffet. My family and I from the upstate was down at the beach for family and couldn't miss a chance to spend Thanksgiving back in a all time favorite! Definitely worth any trip to come and experience Ryan's as it was once knew all over!

Great salad bar and hot foods. Senior discount ($3 off) available online on your phone. We ate at 1:00 pm, and the senior rate was about $9. The food was hot and delicious. I had an amazing salad with lots of fresh tomatoes and veggies. Dinner served with warm yeast rolls and honey butter. Their fried chicken was crisp and not overcooked. Their pintos and black eyed peas must have been cooked by Grandma, yummy. No complaints. My family had never been to a Ryan's before and will definitely go again.💎💎

Went there because we expected a great variety and a steak, it is a steakhouse right?? Nope. There was a guy slicing prime rib but that was it. Back home we were offered a steak. Most of the food was marginal, will not be going back. Sorry.

Went for a large luncheon gathering with a group, the buffet was average at best. Probably won't return anytime soon.

Place was clean, staff very attentive to good service... Food was real good.. Very impressed with overall experience for a buffet... I will visit here when I i want a good variety of food and great service.

Nice restaurant with a large selection of food. The crab salad and fried chicken was the best. This is my first time to this Ryans and I will be coming back.

The foods was good and our server Haficda (please for give me for misspelling your name) she was so wonderful and so nice. She was awesome.

Our waitress was very nice and helpful. The remainder of the restaurant however was in need of a complete renovation. The food was ok at best. This chain used to be much better, but has really declined over the past decade.

A Bit pricey but everything was delicious! Service was great! And my kids loved the ice cream bar!

It's a buffet place. The food was ok and there was a decent selection. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Food was terrible! Not a good variety, no seasoning, waitress never brought dinner rolls and if all that wasn't bad enough the sweet tea had no sugar. We had a party of 5 and no one enjoyed it, we will not be back!

Food are hard, fried chicken was hard as a rock. Baked barbecue chickens supposed to be tender, it was hard and cold. Salad bar are warm. Waitress was nice that's for the one star. We will never come back. Food poisoning just waiting to happen, salmonella and all.

My sister and I stopped in for lunch one day and the only thing that was even remotely correct of a proper restaurant was the temperatures of the hot and cold bars and our server. The inside of this place needs a good sanitized deep cleaning from top to to the carpets and all around. The food handlers/ cooks refused to put on a hair net and had long hair and was swishing it about. There were several human facial hairs found in the meatloaf on my plate as my sister dosen't eat ketchup. Needless to say our money was refunded and there will not be a return trip there for either of us.

My husband and I had a late lunch there, the food was not good. The building is run down and I noticed one of the ceiling fans coming apart. Our server was nice that’s why they get one star

Its decent...reminds me of Golden Carol but cheaper.

Normally one of my faves..The last couple of times the food on buffet was semi cold.And bland.I hope things will get better

Waitress (Elzra)? was super nice and friendly. The salad bar was wonderful. The rest of the food was terrible. This place is like an off brand golden corral. I got a good salad and wonderful service for 15.99 plus a $10 tip.

Pretty much what you'd expect from an all you can eat buffet. We decided to eat lunch and had a good variety of items to chose from. I would have liked 5o see a greater meat selection but for what we paid for it was good.

Better variety of foods to choose. Everything I at tasted delicious and fresh. Salad bar is totally awesome. Rolls are delicious. Desert bar has more than enough to choose from. It was a great dining experience and our waitress was friendly, kind, and very promp checking to see if we needed refills or anything.

Service was good. As far as food goes, I liked the salad bar. I was not however, impressed with the rest of the buffet. The food was not particularly good and there were some items that ran out and had not been replaced. Also, it was 95 degrees outside. It was hotter in the restaurant.

Our server, Hafida, was awesome. Very attentive and super friendly. I love tea and she kept our glasses full. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed the food being that there's not a Ryan's around my area anymore. The food was fresh and seasoned well. The waitress was very attentive. Made sure we had everything that we needed.

Ok food, overpriced, extra for a steak. Remember when it was 4.99 for lunch.

Good food and great variety. Missed the crowd and expected cold, dried out fare but was pleasantly surprised to find everything warm and fresh. Had a minor mix up when our waitress went off shift and didn't pass our drink preferences to her replacement, but she quickly and courteously made things right. Well worth a visit.

We are from TN and Ryan’s went out of business there. We were excited to see one here and went our first day. Worse mistake ever! The chicken was hard and cold. The spaghetti was cold and tasted like plastic. The salad was warm. My husband and son felt sick and we all left hungry. I called and spoke to a manager when we left. She apologized and told me to come back with receipt. I went back and she brought in a supervisor who questioned and doubted everything I said. She was rude and not helpful. So disappointed 😐

The ONLY reason why this gets 3 star is because the service was great. The food was alright I guess, but for the amount of money I was disappointed. We don't mind spending good money on places to eat, but we expect the prices to match the food💯 of course it could've been the time that we went, I dont know. But they kept bring out (what appeared to be) fresh food so I don't believe time was the case. We won't be back for a while, maybe not even at all.

Service was good, food not so good. We went around lunch time and the small variety of foods and soups on the buffet were barely warm and not very tasty. At one time Ryan's was one of the better buffets but after eating at this one I wouldn't recommend it and I won't be going back.

Yum! This Place is Great! I especially Loved The desserts!Although the Red Velvet Cake piece I got was Hard and the rotisserie chicken didn't Have any flavor until I ate It with the Mashed Potatoes and it was DELICIOUS! 😋

If you go to this location, ask for Charlene! She's THE BEST WAITRESS I have ever had the pleasure to meet!! I get the impression that she LOVES what she do! A joy from entrance to exit!! From Durham, NC!! We'll be back to see you Charlene!

I loved the food and people there are nice . but if there out if something they should tell customer before paying bc that is problemly what they want. They were out of dessert there too and its really good.

Cannot recommend. Food decent but cleanliness and sanitation below average. Saw employee in dessert section eating pizza on the job with her work gloves and licking the glove. Never changed gloves but continued to touch food and other bakery items. Clientele is sketchy... not the kind of folks you want to be dining with. Saw several children serving themselves at the buffet, touching food and tongs and no employees said anything to then although sign said age 10 and up only at buffet. Very dirty and worn carpet. No bus boys cleaning tables so the servers were cleaning tables and also serving food and bread. I hope we don't get sick... way too many other good places to eat at in Myrtle Beach. Definitely skip this one .

Don't go towards the end of the night when the food has been sitting a while. Seafood is not their strong suit. The broccoli salad made my dad sick. But the server was wonderful.

You can't beat the price at this buffet restaurant for the selection. Salads ingredients were fresh; no brown or slimy lettuce. All the hot food was hot and cold food was cold. Bars were clean and server was very attentive.

Food was cold. Desserts sitting apparently for hours, dried up and gross. Do not reccommend. This was there bread pudding!

Food was hot and delicious something Golden Corral can't seem to handle. Larry was are waiter and he did a fantastic job brought us hot bread and hunny butter; also keep all the drinks full. Rest of staff seemed really friendly as well. I would definitely recommend. Only knock about the place is the bathroom was dirty and needed to be scrubbed down.
